There is much to do and enjoy during your stay at Stonehurst B&B. We suggest relaxing and taking in the tranquility of the garden surroundings while enjoying the afternoon sun on the large deck, or lounge under the cover of the front verandas - either way, please make yourself at home. And don't forget your swimsuit, as guests at Stonehurst can savour a relaxing soak in our year-round hot-tub or a refreshing splash in the seasonal pool.

An often overlooked benefit of a small-town is the lack of light pollution, and therefore the ability to star-gaze. This experience can be enjoyed from just about anywhere on the property - although we suggest using the hot-tub. There are plenty of other ways to enjoy nature's offerings at Stonehurst, with a conservatory complete with fountain, two front verandas and a seasonally changing garden that is perfect for bird-watching. In fact, throughout the year the garden provides food and shelter that attracts birds of all types including robins, swallows, warblers, cardinals, blue jays and red winged black birds, each of which seem to enjoy refreshing themselves in the bird bath centered in the Georgian garden.

TV is available in the balcony sitting room or in the main great room, and for the business traveller or those wanting to stay in touch wireless internet can be accessed throughout the home. All guests are welcome to use the kitchenette, which is separate from the main kitchen and fully-equipped for use with a stove, microwave, fridge, cutlery and dishes. Prepare yourself a light meal and enjoy it on our back patio overlooking the garden, or enjoy a cup of tea on the veranda while curled up with one of the books from our mini-library.

Also offered is a well-equipped exercise area that includes a treadmill, step machine, recumbent bike, free weights and yoga mat. Other rooms include a grand living room, casual sitting room and formal dining room, making it easy to meet as a group or find solitude during your stay. At Stonehurst, no luxury is too small.

We invite inquiries for weddings and other gatherings on site but do ask that all guest rooms are booked for the occasion (two-night minimum on weekends).
