STONEHURST GREEN ROOM
The Green Room provides guests with a view of the gardens and the front
of the property from two windows facing both NE and SE. This room is perfectly
situated to receive the morning sunshine, and overlooks the cedars, as well as
the grass pathways lined with boxwood forming the cross of St. Andrew that is
part of the Georgian garden.
Feel free to sit on the cushion in the window sill and take in the sunrise
with a blanket and a novel, enjoy a rainstorm in the safety and comfort of
the room, or watch the snowflakes cover the vast grounds at Stonehurst.
Whatever the season, this room has a spectacular view. A queen sleigh bed
and matching furnishings tastefully decorate this room and give it a down-to-earth,
homey feel, with a backdrop of Benjamin Moore "Nature Lover", and Kinkade art
featuring a cottage piece by the "Painter of Light" Thomas Kinkade
(Deb's favourite artist). The private ensuite bath has a shower and heated
tile floor. The wall mounted whisper-quiet Mitsubishi “split ductless” air
conditioner is remote control operated providing individual room control
to your comfort setting.
